Partnership Opportunities

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

We are always looking for volunteers with a passion for our mission and expereince in the nonprofit and arts worlds. Because we are a 501(c)(3), we rely on dedicated people to give a few hours of their time each month. People who’ve volunteered with us in the past include reitrees, those who want to gain professional experiences, or folks who simply want to be part of a worthy cause.

COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS

We actively seek partnerships with companies, organizations, and individuals who align with our mission. From years of experience, we know that through collaboration, voices become louder, reach becomes greater, and projects become stronger for everyone involved.

Student Internships

Our founder was big on helping young professionals so developed an internship program with UMass Boston, where students worked a few hours each week—learning publishing, marketing, or nonprofit skills—and would receive class credit. We’re trying to expand this for-credit program, so if you know of a school that might be interested in partnering with us, please let us know.

Card to Culture Program

We are proud to participate in Mass Cultural Council’s Card to Culture program in collaboration with the Dept. of Transitional Assistance, the Dept. of Public Health’s WIC Nutrition Program, and the MA Health Connector by making cultural programming accessible to those for whom cost is a participation barrier. EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare cardholders can present their card to receive a 50% discount for Substack, an electronic copy of the current issue of Consequence, and any registration fee for any ticketed online event.

If you have questions or would like more information about any of these opportunities, please email our Executive Editor, Matthew Krajniak, at exec.ed@consequenceforum.org. Thank you.
